Solvent dyes synthesized from basic dyes, presented in powder form. They are soluble in oils, olein, stearin, in water (in the presence of acetic acid). They have excellent brightness and high tinting power. Depending on the application medium as well as the structure and type of the dye chromophore group, light fastness levels may vary and are generally average when compared to other dye classes.
They are recommended for the production of copying (stamping), writing, copying, essential oil and paraffin inks.
